Muzeo is located in downtown Anaheim and includes Anaheim’s original Carnegie Library, now expanded with a modern building. The Muzeo exhibition building boasts 5,000 square feet of gallery space, a small theater, and a community reading room. Visitors can enjoy various exhibitions, special events, lectures, classes, and festivals throughout the year.
The city of Anaheim invested almost a million dollars to construct the Muzeo, which includes furniture and enhancements at the Carnegie Library. This 20,000-square-foot facility comprises classrooms, an outdoor plaza for private events, a history center, and a museum that exhibits traveling displays.
MUZEO is a center for arts, knowledge, entertainment, and culture that will engage people of all ages by showcasing prestigious and world-class traveling exhibits. The Museum features various changing exhibitions, special events, lectures, classes, and weekend festivals.
MUZEO (“museum” in the international language of Esperanto) re-invents the concept of a regional cultural center for 21st-century audiences. The idea transforms the image of our grandparent’s museum experience with state-of-the-art self-guided audio podcasts, Wi-Fi access, interactive elements, and modern-day research facilities.
Anaheim Carnegie Library
The Museum complex encompasses Anaheim’s original Carnegie Library (built in 1908) and new state-of-the-art gallery space, seamlessly integrated into an urban setting, intimately surrounded by two connecting courtyards, apartment loft living, and street-level retail outlets.
Downtown Anaheim
The Museum is part of the revitalized downtown Anaheim, which features stores, restaurants, offices, and housing and is only a few miles from the Disneyland Resort District. The Anaheim farmers market is held on Center Street next to the Muzeo Museum every Thursday.
Getting To Muzeo
Parking is available in the structure on Center Street Promenade and South Lemon Street. Muzeo Cultural Arts Center is at 241 S Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, California. The Muzeo Museum is well on making downtown Anaheim a place to visit again, also, in Anaheim Rancho Del Rio, horseback trail rides.
Nearby Anaheim Packing District
Just a short drive from the Museum will find the Anaheim Packing District. The restored two-story citrus packing warehouse looks more like a greenhouse than a food mall, but once inside, you will find the building packed with places to dine.
