If you’re a foodie, you’ll want to check out the Anaheim Packing House. The two-story building has been beautifully restored and looks more like a greenhouse than a food mall. But once you step inside, you’ll find various eateries.
There are numerous places to explore on the premises of the packing house, but the real attractions are found inside the refurbished building. Within its walls are a variety of eateries and bars that serve an array of delicious food and drinks, including grilled cheese sandwiches, gourmet ice cream, pizza, fish and chips, hot pot, burgers, and much more.
The seating options at this dining area vary from bar stools to swinging lounges and are shared by all the food establishments. Additionally, there is an open-air train car where you can relax and enjoy your meal. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, you can choose a comfortable spot and explore delicious food options. You won’t be disappointed.
Located near the packing house, Santa Ana Street is a unique destination in California where a train still travels through the middle of the road. Although it only runs once daily, typically in the afternoon, witnessing a train thundering down the street is quite a spectacle.

At the Packing House, approximately 20 different food vendors offer various dishes ranging from grilled cheese to Waffle sandwiches. If you cannot find something to satisfy your hunger here, you must not be hungry.
The Anaheim Packing House was constructed in 1919 near the Southern Pacific rail line. It served as a bustling activity center for countless years until the neighboring farms and orchards were eventually replaced by housing developments.
Today the Anaheim Packing House is a fun place to hang out and enjoy a meal. Families and couples on a date to enjoy this place. Live entertainment and special events are held on weekends, and this place gets crowded. Arrive early or late afternoon for a more relaxed visit. Parking is challenging with only one small lot. However, there is an additional parking lot about a block away, plus street parking.
