Descanso Gardens’ Enchanted Forest of Light is an enchanting place to celebrate the holiday season. Visitors can stroll through ten stunning holiday-themed exhibits, some of which feature interactive lighting that visitors can control. Other displays allow you to jump up and down on the lights as they change color, offering a fun and immersive experience for all.

The enchanted forest has ten exhibit areas that visitors can enjoy. Follow the arrows along the trail to explore all the exhibits. In case you get lost, there are guides along the way to assist you. Some displays are walk-through, while others have interactive exhibits that may take longer to explore, especially if you’re with children.
Enchanted Forest Descanso Garden Before You Go
- Bing along with some warm clothes, it gets downright cold in the forest.
- Hot drinks, wine, and food are available at the entrance to the Enchanted Forest.
- Plan on spending about one hour walking through the forest. It takes longer if you have children that want to play.
- Parking for the Enchanted Forest is free, and it is recommended that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your time slot.
- Take lots of pictures to share with your Facebook Friends.
