Things to do at Lightscape
Lightscape is an enchanting walkway that extends a little over a mile. It is recommended to allocate at least 1.5 hours to stroll through the display. The event requires walking, so visitors must wear warm clothing and comfortable footwear. Food and hot beverages are also available on-site to keep visitors warm and energized throughout the event.

- Entrance to the festival is per time slot, so arrive early so you don’t miss your time slot.
- Parking is available for a fee at the Arboretum. Offsite parking includes a free shuttle to the event site.
- Check your local Costco store. They may have discount tickets to the holiday festival.
- Wear comfortable shoes to enjoy the mile-long route of displays throughout the festival.
Can You Take Photos?
Visitors can take photos and share them on social media using #lalightscape. Tripods are prohibited, and images cannot be used for commercial purposes.
If you plan to park at the Arboretum, please note that parking costs $30 per car and is only available online in advance. You can park either at the Main Entrance or the South Lot, but please be aware that a limited number of spaces are available. Make sure to select the exact date for your parking as the date of your Lightscape tickets. If you need handicapped parking, you can park for free at the Colorado Street entrance, lot #6, at the Santa Anita Racetrack.
The Lightscape Festival begins in November and continues through early January. The festival runs from Wednesday to Sunday, with three entry time slots: 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, and 8:00 pm, and remains open till 10:00 pm. Website. LA Arboretum is located at 301 N Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, California.
