The Los Angeles Zoo transforms into a magical wonderland during a special holiday event where families can take a self-guided tour through the zoo at night, starting at 6:00 PM. The zoo becomes a fantastic wonderland with glowing, lighted animals made possible by lasers, three-dimensional projections, and interactive displays.

L.A. Zoo Lights is one of Southern California’s most popular holiday events, growing bigger and better each year. The event features animated displays, a walk-through light tunnel, Santa Claus, live reindeer, and free parking. You can expect a trail that takes you through a section of the zoo with displays of lights and animated animals covered with lights, along with some holiday refreshments. It is recommended to spend at least 90 minutes viewing the event.
