If you’re searching for a free, enjoyable, and family-oriented activity, the Oxnard Banana Festival is the perfect choice.
The festival offers a variety of activities and celebrates one of the Port’s essential imports – bananas! Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, port tours, a vendor marketplace, arts and crafts, an auto pavilion, music and dance, a kid’s area, recipe contests, and a wide selection of banana desserts. There’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Port of Hueneme Tours
Tours will be available for those attending the festival to view any operations happening at the Port on that day. This is a unique chance to see the Port and Naval Base from the sea as you embark on a tour aboard the Sunfish boat.

Kids Zone allows the youth to explore heavy equipment and enter a banana cargo container to experience the vastness of global product import and export.
Banana Festival Food
Local restaurants offer custom delicacies and compete for “top banana” recognition, with a special banana treat from each vendor.
